I would first like to recognize the amazing, heartmwarming and inspriring steps that Andy's family has taken in memory of his name. Andy was a person that should never be forgotten, and it is a tradedy that should never be over looked. As hard as I try to think back I cannot recall a single time Andy was not smiling. I am so thankful that whenever I think about him I see that smile shining from ear to ear. And. his hair , that was his second trademark, what I would give for that beautiful hair, I always told him that. I don't know if it was just me but Andy always reminds me of a young Anthony Keides, maybe its just because he was such a young handsome man.or maybe it was the hair. Im curious did anyone else ever see that in Andy? Its really great to see that everyone still holds all of their memories of Andy close to them. Andy.we love you and will never forget you.

There has not been one day since Andy left that I haven't thought about him and there will never be one in the future. While I wasn't as close to Andy as some other people like Rupp or Ben, I've known him for a while. I got to know him rather well during the summer before his senior year and after he left Cincinnati to come back to Cleveland. My favorite memory of Andy is probably from the night before I went back to school for the second semester of my junior year. He was the last one of my friends that I saw before getting back to college life. He offered to give me a lift home and as we were walking to the car, we were talking about the music we had been listening to and I said something like "I've been trying to find this MMW cd with partido alto on it for a month and nobody has it." He just kinda looked at me, smirked and said "that sucks man". no sooner do we get in the car, he turns on the cd player and partido alto is playing. I was shocked not only by the fact that he had the cd, but that he was listening to that particular song. It was actually kind of eerie. He kinda laughed at the expression on my face, which immediately made me laugh and then he turned it up as we drove away. Andy dropped me off at my house, which was out of his way, but thats the kind of guy he is. I opened the door, we said our goodbyes and I told him to come visit me sometime. As I walked away I heard his door shut and he came running up to me with a copy of the cd and told me to hold on to it until I could find a copy of my own.
Thats how I remember Andy. He went out of his way to do something nice for me because he was able to. He is one of the very few genuinely good people that I have had the priviledge to become friends with. Although he is gone now, I will always remember him. I know that he would be so proud of everything that his family has done in his name. Best wishes to his family and everyone who loved him.

In two and a half hours will be the first anniversary of my husband dying from hypertensive atheroclerotic coronary thrombos with contributing self inducted acute intoxication of cocaine. I hope and pray no one else ever suffers this tragedy.

I was hypnotized by Andy's story. I had my 16 year old read it, knew he was smoking pot and drinking. Never thought to have my 40 year old husband read it.
